What is Yin Yoga

"Yin Yoga is a slower, more meditative practice to compliment yang styles of yoga. A floor based practice where we hold postures for several minutes to release tension from target areas within the body. Aiding in restoring the health of our bodies tissue and maintaining the natural mobility of our joints. Energetically it helps to open up the meridian system, opening up the flow of energy and supporting our mental health. Each posture is a chance to have a mini meditation and explore stillness."

It changed my yoga journey completely when I first took a yin class that I immediately went to do my 300 hour Yin teacher training. I was able to study it module by module which I feel gave me time to process and teach each part of the practice before continuing education

Once you yin, its hard to go back ;)
